About

Sasha Porter is a contemporary visual artist known for her emotionally charged paintings and installations that explore memory, transformation, and the interplay between nature and urban environments. Working primarily with mixed media, Luisa combines traditional techniques with experimental materials to create immersive works that invite deep personal reflection.

Originally from Berlin and now based in London, Luisa studied Fine Art at the Berlin University of the Arts before completing her MFA at Goldsmiths, University of London. Her work has been exhibited across Europe, with recent solo shows in London, Berlin, and Copenhagen.

Luisa's artistic practice is rooted in process and experimentation. Whether working on canvas or large-scale installations, she seeks to dissolve boundaries between material and meaning, gesture and silence. Influences range from post-minimalist sculpture to the natural patterns found in landscapes and decay.

Her work is included in private and public collections, and she has participated in residencies in Iceland, Japan, and the Scottish Highlands. Beyond her studio practice, Luisa frequently collaborates with musicians, architects, and environmental researchers to expand the dialogue between disciplines.

She is represented by several contemporary galleries and continues to exhibit internationally.
